Step into the world of figure drawing with this 3-session beginner-friendly course led by artist and educator Keith. Designed as a guided introduction to the foundations of life drawing, this course focuses on gesture, proportion, and expressive mark-making using conte (oil-based pastel) — Keith’s preferred medium for capturing the energy and form of the human figure.

In the first session, students will build their drawing confidence through warm-up exercises, photo references, and step-by-step gesture techniques. The second and third sessions feature a live model, where participants will apply their new skills in real-time, supported by live demonstrations, group critiques, and one-on-one feedback from Keith.

All materials are provided, and each 3-hour session is structured to help you grow at your own pace while learning techniques Keith uses in his own studio practice. Whether you're new to figure drawing or looking to revisit the basics with fresh eyes, this course offers a supportive and immersive environment to develop your observational and technical skills.
