ARTIST WORKSHOPS

WET & WILD
WATERCOLOUR WORKSHOP

We are super excited to have Paul Wang, (click to view his website) conducting our next artist led workshop!

Paul Wang is an art and design educator, urban sketcher and water colourist. His passion for the arts blossomed from a very young age and he went on to study Interior Architecture and Technical Theatre Design with support from National Arts Council. With his multi-disciplinary and multi-sensory training, his sketches and paintings are always bursting with dramatic colours, just like a stage set. As an extension of this creative process, he teaches actively as an art and design educator here in Singapore and abroad.

Urban Sketching is now his unique way of encapsulating the urban landscape on paper and using sketches to tell stories. Many of his on-location sketches have been featured in local and international publications like the Moleskine Art Journal series and most recently the National Geographic Traveller magazine.

He is also an active Urbansketchers’ blog correspondent and an advisory board member.

DONATE TO CARES JB

This year we’ve also chosen CARES JB (click to learn more about this animal shelter) as our adopted charity that we would love to help as we absolutely adore animals and would like to try our best to give these homeless animals a better life. All our artist-led workshops will come with an additional and optional $5 add-on option, of which 100% will go to the shelter. We will also match the amounts donated! The reason we chose CARES JB was because friends of ours (along with many other Singaporeans) volunteer there frequently and the animals at the Johor shelter are in need of a lot more funding and resources than the shelters in Singapore. If you would like to know more about the shelter or how else you can help please feel free to reach out to us too!

PREVIOUS WORKSHOPS

Check out previous editions of our artist-led workshops. These sessions are important to us and a way for us to support our friends and artists in the community. It was something that we set out to do when we started Arterly Obsessed and we’re so excited to be able to run these sessions. If you love art and want to learn from some amazing artists then come join in our next session!
