ARTIST WORKSHOPS
We are super excited to have Lyn Ng, founder of beloved local brand MU YU (click to view her website) conducting our seventh artist led workshop and her first ever bag making workshop!
Lyn Ng is a Singapore-based artisan and the visionary founder and head designer of Studio MU / YU—a sustainable woodcraft label launched in 2018. After leaving a well-paid marketing job, Lyn apprenticed at a local upcycling studio, where she discovered the beauty of turning discarded wood into everyday treasures—fashioned into jewellery, bags, and accessories inspired by the “language of wood” (木语)
Studio MU / YU champions slow design and eco-conscious craftsmanship, giving new life to leftover wood. Each unique piece reflects the natural grain, knots, and imperfections of the material, transforming what would be waste into elegant, sustainable accessories.

DONATE TO CARES JB
This year we’ve also chosen CARES JB (click to learn more about this animal shelter) as our adopted charity that we would love to help as we absolutely adore animals and would like to try our best to give these homeless animals a better life. All our artist-led workshops will come with an additional and optional $5 add-on option, of which 100% will go to the shelter. We will also match the amounts donated! The reason we chose CARES JB was because friends of ours (along with many other Singaporeans) volunteer there frequently and the animals at the Johor shelter are in need of a lot more funding and resources than the shelters in Singapore. If you would like to know more about the shelter or how else you can help please feel free to reach out to us too!
PREVIOUS WORKSHOPS
Check out previous editions of our artist-led workshops. These sessions are important to us and a way for us to support our friends and artists in the community. It was something that we set out to do when we started Arterly Obsessed and we’re so excited to be able to run these sessions. If you love art and want to learn from some amazing artists then come join in our next session!
